In the webinar on "Cybersecurity Basics," featuring Laurie Salvail, Executive Director of CYBER.ORG, Willie Henderson, Cyber Education Specialist at CYBER.ORG, and Tali Horowitz, East Coast Education Director at Common Sense Education, several fundamental topics were covered succinctly. These included the essentials of Cybersecurity in Social-media, the far-reaching consequences of Cyber Threats, considerations regarding user accessibility, practical tips for enhancing Cybersecurity, and a thought-provoking exploration of how personal information can potentially be exploited.

ii. Reflections the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

The webinar emphasized the importance of safeguarding our online presence, especially in social media. Learning about the consequences of cyber threats made me realize our vulnerability online. The discussion on user accessibility highlighted the balance between convenience and security. The practical tips provided were invaluable for enhancing online safety. Understanding how personal information can be exploited was eye-opening. This webinar heightened my awareness of digital risks and offered practical tools for protection.

iii. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level.
(Practical application of learnings)

Practically applying the insights from the webinar means taking concrete steps to boost our online safety. We should start by regularly updating passwords and using two-factor authentication for social media accounts. Sharing what we've learned about cyber threats with friends and family can create a safer digital environment. Finding the right balance between convenience and security in our online activities is key – think twice before sharing personal information. Simple but effective tips like using strong, unique passwords can make a big difference. Lastly, understanding how our info can be misused online reminds us to be cautious.

iv. Positive feedback (on the event organization)

The "Cybersecurity Basics" webinar was fantastic! The speakers, true professionals, made complex topics easy to understand. Making information simplified for the participants. Their practical tips are invaluable for online safety.

v. Suggestions for improvements to be made/ consider for future activities

The webinar had its moments, but I was hoping for more depth. While the speakers are clearly professionals, I felt that some of the content was too basic, and I was left wanting more advanced insights.
