UDEMY: Bootstrap & jQuery – Certification Course
Event Title:” Bootstrap & jQuery – Certification Course”
i. Details of the event/activity
The "Bootstrap & jQuery –
Certification Course for Beginners" on Udemy provided a comprehensive
learning experience, covering essential concepts and gradually progressing to
intermediate topics. Through project-style learning, participants built
mobile-responsive web pages with animation and interactivity, using Bootstrap for
front-end development and jQuery for creating stunning, animated elements.
ii. Reflections the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
The course equipped me with the skills
to create mobile-responsive web pages using Bootstrap's Grid System and
customize UI elements like drop-down navigation menus, collapse panels, and
accordion menus. Additionally, I learned how to add interactivity and animation
to web pages using jQuery, mastering functions like fade, toggle, slide, and
animate.
iii. Reflections on possibilities on
implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level.
(Practical application of learnings)
Implementing the webinar input on a
practical level, I can now confidently design and develop mobile-responsive
websites that prioritize user experience across various devices. By applying
Bootstrap's layout strategies and jQuery's animation features, I can create
engaging and dynamic web pages that captivate users. I have applied these
learning both for my Capstone Project and OJT work.
iv. Positive feedback (on the event organization)
The instructor from YouAccel Training was
commendable, providing clear instructions and hands-on exercises that
facilitated learning. The pace of the course allowed for thorough
understanding, and the project-based approach made hard to understand concepts easy.
v. Suggestions for improvements to be made/ consider for future
activities
As a Beginner Course, this is actually
a great intro to Bootstrap and jQuery. But for future activities, it would be
beneficial to include more practical applications of Bootstrap and jQuery
concepts that could reinforce learning outcomes.
