The seminar titled "Artificial Intelligence in Health Promotion" was held on June 8, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It was organized by the Gordon College - Institute of Graduate Studies MANS students and featured Dr. Ronnell D. Dela Rosa, an Associate Professor V at Bataan Peninsula State University and a professional at Cardinal Santos Medical Center in Manila. Dr. Dela Rosa shared his expertise on the role of AI in the health sector, its benefits, pros and cons, economic implications, and how AI is utilized at Cardinal Santos Medical Center.

ii. Reflections the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

This seminar provided a comprehensive understanding of the integration of AI in the health sector. Dr. Dela Rosa's explanation of what AI is and how it functions in the Philippines was enlightening. He detailed the significant benefits of AI, such as improved diagnostic accuracy and enhanced patient care. The discussion on the pros and cons of AI provided a balanced perspective, highlighting both its potential to revolutionize healthcare and the challenges it poses. Additionally, Dr. Dela Rosa shed light on the economic issues that AI might bring, which was a critical consideration for future implementation. Learning about the practical application of AI at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, particularly in their hospital equipment and systems, was particularly fascinating and underscored the real-world impact of these technologies.

iii. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level.

As a BSIT student, the insights from this seminar opened up exciting possibilities for practical applications in local health systems. The idea of developing AI solutions for healthcare is both challenging and inspiring. I can envision working on projects that integrate AI into local health facilities, perhaps starting with simpler applications like AI-driven diagnostic tools or patient management systems.

iv. Positive feedback (on the event organization)

The event was well-organized and effectively delivered. Dr. Dela Rosa's expertise and clear presentation style made complex topics accessible and engaging. The seminar's structure, starting with foundational concepts and progressing to real-world applications, ensured a comprehensive learning experience. The use of a virtual platform facilitated participation and interaction, making the seminar inclusive and interactive. Despite it being a Free seminar, the organizers gave out freebies, food and beverages for each participant.

v. Suggestions for improvements to be made/ consider for future activities

Including case studies or testimonials from healthcare professionals who have implemented AI in their practices could provide additional practical insights. Also, having Professional Developers that have integrated A.I. on Health Systems would greatly enhance the understanding of the participants
